Upon walking in to our elegant and characterful Grade II listed building, you’ll be welcomed by the front of house team at reception area. Order a coffee or something delicious to eat from our Lost in The Projects café. We have a variety of work spaces to choose from, including booths, open-plan tables and individual desks so you can make yourself at home. Our suite of services has been designed to inspire and nurture growing businesses, from our concierge benefits to our carefully curated events programme.

We’re fortunate to be the guardians of a Grade II, 19th Century listed building in the heart of Brighton’s Lanes. We do, however, understand the importance of staying ahead of the times in today’s business world – so, at The Projects, you’ll find 21st Century technology embedded throughout the building.

We’ve worked hard to develop a suite of services – from an attentively put together events programme to partnerships with local businesses – to make your business grow and your personal life a little easier, too.

Our concierge team are here to help in whatever way they can. Need a picnic blanket for lunch on the beach? A tie for that impromptu formal business dinner? The quickest route to an out-of-town meeting perhaps? If we can’t help, we’ll find someone who can.

A collaborative work space with a touch of members’ club

The Projects is a work space that’s more collaborative than co-working, with thanks to inspiration from the world of members’ clubs. Not the elite, expensive variety, but the clubs that provide a sense of community when you walk through the door, that know their members by name and that offer those personal touches that make all the difference.

We’ve combined this with a carefully thought through work space that offers privacy as well as partnership when each are required. You can see why The Projects is already gaining a reputation as Brighton’s ‘next generation’ work space.

Located on the ground floor, our relaxed, chic café is the perfect spot to grab a fresh coffee and take a well-earned break. With catering by Lost in the Lanes, the café offers premium, locally sourced coffee, with an exciting, frequently changing menu of freshly made snacks and smoothies.

Lost is also on hand to cater for meetings, client lunches and events. Kitchen facilities are available on every floor, for those who prefer to do their own thing, and for a constant supply of tea and coffee.

Our first floor kitchen area doubles as a breakout zone, with comfy sofas and games like table football, Space Invaders and Jenga. This is the perfect space to have your lunch or unwind on a Friday evening.

Our second floor roof terrace (with adjoining kitchen facilities) provides members with a fantastic space for summer BBQs, team yoga or simply a chance to fill the lungs with fresh sea air. In the interests of productivity, the terrace provides space to switch off, take a break from your screen and re-energise.

Originally secure storage for 19th century valuables, complete with cast iron door and security grille, The Sitting Room & Bar are now the setting for exclusive cocktail evenings and members’ social events.

Armchairs surround the fire ready for winter evenings, and a selection of exceptional wines & spirits complement the small but perfectly formed cocktail list.

Next to The Sitting Room and Bar is The Library, complete with books, comfortable seating and a bespoke table which also caters for large meetings or board-room style presentations. There’s all the audio-visual kit you could possibly need, and even a ceiling-mounted camera so you can record everything for posterity.

The Library, Sitting Room and Bar all form a separate ground floor space for hire (complete with toilets), away from the rest of the building.
